Full of energy, flexible and emotionally appealing; a perfect description of the Suzuki Kizashi concept car, which will make its world debut at Frankfurt. Literally meaning ?prelude?, the Kizashi represents the third phase of Suzuki?s world strategy.
The theme for this third phase is ?Status?, with the Kizashi guiding the way to a new direction for Suzuki, representing the continued upward breakthrough of Suzuki and its ability to offer a wider range of vehicles to customers.

Suzuki Grand Vitara wins Consumer Guide Automotive Best Buy award
With yearly sales up over 25 percent, Suzuki has already broken its one-year record and is shooting for total U.S. vehicle sales of 100,000 units for the first time in history. Further proving Suzuki?s strength is the 2007 Suzuki Grand Vitara SUV, having just been awarded the Consumer Guide Automotive "Best Buy? distinction in the compact Sport Utility Vehicle class.
The 2007 Suzuki Grand Vitara outscored 17 other compact SUVs nominated by Consumer Guide Automotive. Rated broadly across 10 categories, each vehicle is considered in terms of driving characteristics, features, accommodations and price. The other entrants were the Acura RDX, BMW X3, Ford Escape, Honda Element, Hyundai Tucson, Jeep Compass, Jeep Liberty, Jeep Patriot, Jeep Wrangler, Kia Sportage, Mazda Tribute, Mercury Mariner, Mitsubishi Outlander, Saturn VUE, Subaru Baja, Subaru Forester and Toyota RAV4.

Suzuki sales soaring
Suzuki has set yet another annual sales record for the third consecutive year. On October 12, 2006 the company eclipsed its previous high mark of 82,101 vehicles, set last year. Overall sales this year have been up 28 percent compared with the first nine months of 2005.
The growth may be attributed to a strong model lineup, including an all-new Grand Vitara SUV that has shown an amazing 419 percent growth in sales over the last generation 2005 model. Other models such as the SX4 sport compact, now in showrooms, and the XL7 full-size SUV, expected in November, should boost Suzuki sales well over the company?s 100,000 unit goal.
